She was nominated for the 2014 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her performance in If/Then. Menzel is also known for her recurring role of Shelby Corcoran, (the biological mother of main character Rachel Berry, played by Lea Michele) on the Fox musical comedy-drama TV series Glee, the 2007 Disney film Enchanted and as the voice of Elsa the Snow Queen in the 2013 Disney film Frozen, the highest-grossing animated film of all time, in which she sang the Academy Award-winning song "Let It Go". The song peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Menzel is the only competitive Tony Award-winning actress to ever reach the top 10.
