Yuridia - Creation Story Essay lyrics

One similarity between the Greek Creation Myth and Genesis Creation story is that Cain had k**ed his own brother named Abel all because he had felt hate and jealousy towards him. Cain was the oldest son of Adam and Eve he would always do a sacrifice for God but when he saw that Abel's offers got accepted and his got rejected it made him angry and dislike his brother. So one day Cain decided to wake up Abel with out telling his parents he took him far away from home where no one could see him and k**ed Abel. Abel was dead and now Cain had no choice but to leave his home and never returned he knew that his parents will never forgive him. In the myth Rhea sister and also wife of Cronus had about 5 children but none of them survive simply because Cronus always ate them. Cronus didn't want his children to over power him therefore he ate them. Rhea was once again pregnant Cronus was also going to eat him but instead Rhea was smart enough and told him to eat a rock instead, Rhea took that opportunity and took Zeus to a safe place where he would be raise and survive. Zeus became older and came back with his parents. Rhea was trying to make a drink for Cronus that way he would stop eating his children but one good thing happen Zeus once again became his fathers Cup beater which gave him a huge opportunity to slip Cronus on drinking the drink. Cronus took the drink and drank from it, now the 5 children have now returned back to life. The similarities are that in both Myth and story the characters k**ed each other simply because they couldn't stand the other person to be better than them. The differences are that once Cain had k**ed his brother Abel there was no way back, no way that Abel could return back to life he was gone and forever while in the Greek myth the 5 children came back to life there father had vomit them and never were harm again thanks to Zeus who and there mother they helped out. The 5 children came powerful they were gods.
