Luke becomes depressed by this uncalled for event and destroys the d**h stars; This made him a true hero. Despite all the troubles during the journey, Luke was able to save the day and shoot the d**h star. Without Luke, his planet would have been destroyed. Simba fulfills the epic hero monomyth in many ways. He loses his dad at a very young age and runs away from home because he gets lost. He is forced to live with his two best friends Timone and Pumba for years until a wise monkey named Raffiki told him he needs to go back home to be the king before his evil uncle scar takes the thrown. Simba goes back to his home and fights scar to become the king. Scar loses and the hyenas k** him. Simba takes the role of the king. Luke and Simba both take the role of the epic hero monomyth. They both go through obstacles and hard times but they get through them. They fight off the enemy and become the hero. They didn't give up and kept going. Simba faced more obstacles then Luke. He was almost k**ed by hyenas as a kid and watched his dad die. He lived without his family for years and then had to fight his own uncle in order to become king. Simba was a strong hero and never gave up. He is the true epic hero.
