Susan K. Rowse - Editorial lyrics

Dear friends, I'm tired and bewildered I think. I grieve still for the faceless lives who are gone from hatred and yet...I know love is stronger. I want the love to echo and it does but, somehow...this morning... the world affairs are getting to me and I need to feel the love screaming across fathomless oceans and an atmosphere charged with insensitivity. I wonder if a lesson is learned from emotions that go through the media and still come out only half baked. I want to know how a mole such as Osama Bin Laden can still exist and has ever been able to fester his evil without the modern day world never knowing his intent? Where was the media then when they seem to know every move our president makes? I'm tired of rehashed old news and I want the positive side of humanity now. I waken with intense fear of listening to the television or radio and I look out over the waving reeds of an open marsh and I see beauty and I think of the contrast this must be for those pitiful scared people who make up the true body of Afghanistan. I wonder of my freedom to make a cup of coffee and their's of holding a loaf of bread as close as if it were AT&T stock. I know that freedom here gives us the right to vote our government in and that the watch dogs of the American public makes it a justified vote. Then these open socketed vagrants of the Tallibon eat blades of gra** when their powers dine on better...if you can call anything "better" there. You see by my pattern here that I, too, am a victim of the media and the need to know of all peoples' curiosity. When will the power stop to intimidate the innocent by just being news worthy? Give me Sunday mornings at the park. Give me back window shopping for dreams and return the pleasures of a fall afternoon to kite flying and looking for beach gla**. This is America folks ! WE are friends and company for each other. Give us Sundays back and watch what a day of peace can do for sad hearts. I'm sure I'm not alone in my thinking and I pray like all you others that peace comes soon for we all are so tired of this. Okay...that said...It's Sunday. Let's go to Forsyth Park. Just my phennings worth, Susan K. Rowse Savannah, Georgia
