How does this work? There are 39 college football bowl games, beginning on December 20th and ending on January 12th. In a Pick 'Em contest, contestants select a winner for each game as well as a final score prediction for the National Championship for tiebreaker purposes. It's a no pressure contest: you can guess randomly and you may do better than someone who researches each matchup. How do I enter? You enter by scrolling to the bottom of this page and adding your username. Then, take a look at the Bowl Matchups page to see which teams are playing in which bowls. Keep that tab open to use as reference, return to this page, and annotate your username with your predictions for each bowl game and a National Championship tiebreaker score, just in case. What's the prize? There are two prizes! The winner receives a football jersey and the runner-up receives Genius swag. Sound good? I thought so. How does scoring work? Scoring is simple. You receive 1 point for each game result you guess correctly and 0 points for each incorrect guess. If the National Championship score tiebreaker is needed, the winner will be decided by whichever guessed score is closest to the actual final score. In order to track your progress throughout the contest, check the Standings page each day. There will also be a contest forum thread, a game discussion thread, and a recaps page if you find yourself overcome with football spirit. How long do I have to enter? Since the first game is played on December 20th at 11 AM EST, the deadline to annotate your picks on this page is December 20th at 10 AM EST. Any entries after that time will be excluded from the competition. Additionally, any pick changes made after the deadline will result in disqualification. Good luck!
