The name was changed because it would have been the third So Many Dynamos song to have the word "party" in its title. 3 "Artifacts of Sound" refers to the digital encoding of mp3s and CD's. The phrase is taken from a conversation with Chad Matheny during an existential crisis over the release format of his Emperor X material.
