In the play Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare, we come across many different characters. Looking into Ca**ius, he we see him as perhaps a villain. He was cunning. What were his beliefs and what techniques did he use? Ca**ius had a different view on how a government should be run; his credence lead to his actions. “Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world like a Colossus” (Document B). Here Ca**ius talks about a colossus referring to Caesar. This shows that Ca**ius believes that Caesar is too big and powerful for this world. “Upon what meat doth this our Caesar feed, that he is great” (Document B). In this quote, Ca**ius questions why Caesar is so overrated. This proves that Ca**ius believes that no man is greater than the others. Ca**ius actions match up with his beliefs; Ca**ius believes in equality and that Caesar is too powerful. In order for Ca**ius to achieve what he wanted he used techniques to persuade the others into k**ing Caesar. “We petty men walk under his huge legs and peep about” (Document B). Ca**ius is trying to make the others see his point of view. This shows how he uses a little bit of imagery to help him explain the situation. “Why should that name be sounded more than yours” (Document B). Obviously Ca**ius needed Brutus on his side so he asks him a question. A question that requires an answer with a lot of thought, Ca**ius used questions to help the others understand. Ca**ius used a lot of techniques to help everyone see his point of view. These were Ca**ius' beliefs and techniques that paved the story of Julius Caesar's d**h.
