Sebastian Stan - Captain America: Welcome to 2011 lyrics

[after Steve has been missing for some time, we see him awaken in a hospital and he can hear a baseball game on the radio] RADIO SPORTS ANNOUNCER: There's a pitch, it's a ball high outside. So, the Dodgers are tied four to four. At the count no doubt, one swing of his bat. This fella is capable of making it a brand new game again. Just an absolutely gorgeous day here at Ebbets field. Phillies have managed to tie it up four to four. But the Dodgers have three men on pitch... it's a strike! He leans in, here's the pitch, swung on, it's a line drive. It gets past Grissom. Rizzo will score, Reiser heads to third. Durocher is going to wave him in. They look to relay but they hold steady. Pete Reiser with an inside the park... [A nurse comes into the room to check up on Steve while he looks at her suspiciously] NURSE: Good morning. Or should I say, afternoon. STEVE ROGERS: Where am I? NURSE: You're in a recovery room in New York city. STEVE ROGERS: Where am I really? NURSE: I'm afraid I don't understand. STEVE ROGERS: The game, it's from May, nineteen forty one. I know, cause I was there. [he gets up from the bed] Now, I'm gonna ask you again. Where am I? NURSE: Captain Rogers? STEVE ROGERS: Who are you? [two soldiers in black uniform enter the room and Steve knocks them through the wall] NURSE: Captain Rogers, wait! [Steve sees that he's on a some kind of made up set and he runs out. Steve finds himself in 2011's Times Square. He looks around him in shock, numerous SUV's encircle him and a man with an eye patch, Nick Fury, steps out of one of the vehicles] NICK FURY: At ease soldier! Look, I'm sorry about that little show back there. But we thought it best to break it to you slowly. STEVE ROGERS: Break what? NICK FURY: You've been asleep, Cap. For almost seventy years. [Steve looks around him in shock] Are you gonna be okay? STEVE ROGERS: Yeah. Yeah. I just... I had a date.
