Robert William Gruhn - To Discover One's Self lyrics

Is to look forward instead of looking back; Sometimes an essence can be lost within ones gone, Never taking all of you with them and mainly that desire. Having walked there I see no need to return and trace steps. Mortal mind just a pa**enger on this one way unknown voyage; This body crawling then flying inside an artificial source, Encased within a cold steel soaring bullet bearing wings. My brain knew this was crazy and even more so unnatural. A ship of time will take me to an end no matter what; Thinking I will die yet those thoughts may surely perish, Along with so many dreams that always ended before I awoke. I look now through a window destroying blue horizon mirrors. Finding myself has truly taken nearly two thirds of a life; Because this one is mine hastens a need to enjoy my rest, Even though a past has been so very kind to embrace me. I still long to discover the finality of my existence. Copyright © 2013 Robert William Gruhn A.R.R.
