Ri'Kaliah Crawford - MonoMyth Essay lyrics

SCORE Why are Transformers and Luke Skywalker good examples of the Epic Hero Monomyth? Cause they both do some type of deed without expecting any reward in return. Also they were looking out for the well-being of others. Luke was a good example of an epic hero monomyth because he went to save princess Leia and risking his life at it. Luke knew he what he was up against and still went war with Dark Vador. He was very adventurous teenager he liked having task and a mission, so he was super excited when princess Leia asked for his help. Luke knew as a person with the right supplies and transportation he could go save Princess Leia and he did have a ship and protection. My Hero choice was the Transformers. The Autobots protected humans when the war with the Decepticons played on earth. The Autobots even team up with the Humans military to help them. But not all the humans (The NASA workers and travelers) agreed with the Transformers or “aliens” being there because the there was no good come from them. The Good ones The Autobots took it upon their selves to protect earth because the new this war was bigger than what humans could handle. The bad NASA workers didn't want the Transformers on earth because they made bad deals with the decepticons and they knew about all the stuff lost from the planet (Cybertron) and stuff. The Best role Model today is transformers because they did duties on earth voluntarily. For example when one of their ships crash landed on earth with special cargo they knew trouble would come to this innocent planet. I don't think Luke is the best role model depending on how you look at is character. In my eyes I thought he was rebellious but still he was helpful. All in all they are both good heroes but the Best role model is Transformers. The Epic hero monomyth is important because in Star Wars, My choice was a good role model for people to follow today.
