Track 1 Lost Lover Starts the album off with a bang with a k**er synth and drum pattern as well as a great hook and nice lady backing vocals. Most of this tape is about the love and loss of women and this gets the formula down pat right off the start 10/10 Track 2 R U Ready Once again the synths that were picked for this song are just out of this world good and the hook is k**er as well. The slight female contributions that they get for their songs on this album add s** depth it is crazy. Hawthorne has an amazing voice with this song allowing him to showcase it well 10/10 Track 3 Watch The Dance This song easily has one of the best hooks on the entire album, and that is really saying something. The production is funky as hell here with a great subtle guitar going on, nice backing vocals, and a great handclap melody. One of those songs that is damn near impossible to sit still to 10/10 Track 4 So Good Another k**er hook that will stay in your head for a while. The verse by Hawthorne on this song are really groovy and once again get your head bopping to the rhythm. One of the headiest productions on here with lots of different elements going on at once 10/10 Track 5 Two Wrongs Completely switches up the whole pacing of the album and goes into a super funky and soulful slow jam. Really enjoy the slower track as well with this one just flowing along and feeling like some perfect songs that would come out of the 50s. The guitar that comes in halfway through is absolutely perfect. Actually remains one of my favorites on the tape because of its once again great production and vocals 10/10 Track 6 Tuxedo Groove Just to even change up the pace even further they hit us with the one instrumental track on the whole tape. It is a great beat that is fun to hell to listen to but I won't say that it is the best instrumental on the whole tape 8/10 Track 7 I Got U Another great song that while entertaining as hell, doesn't feel quite as great as any other tracks in the first half of the album. This would be a standout cut from any other tape, but lacks a little bit in the flow of this project. Still a fun listen with a more minimal production style on it 9/10 Track 8 The Right Time Probably the most flat out funky feeling of all the songs on here. I great boogie feeling as well with another super dope hook on here. The subtle synth line that rises and falls randomly and the really funky backing production is some top notch sh**. One of the best joints on this tape for sure 10/10 Track 9 Roll Along Once again the funk and boogie comes alive with a hard hitting instrumental that has the best drums on the album and some super funky synths that would sound at home next to Snoop Dogg. The backing lady vocals that repeat some of the line add a lot to this song. Another slower paced joint that really goes hard 10/10 Track 10 Get U Home Another slow jam that has the slowest pacing of any song on the album. I really f** with this song and it has great growing potential to anyone who doesn't dig this on the first listen. Actually one of the better songs on here for me and really gives you a chance to unwind during the listening experience. The horn heavy outro is really great for stoners too 10/10 Track 11 Do It The tempo speeds back up again for another body moving funk k**er. Another absolutely k**er hook that is one of the most memorable on the album. You have no soul if you aren't dancing around to this sh**. Not a lot of verses on here, they just hit you hard with the bridge and the hook just getting you back into the groove 9/10 Track 12 Number One The album closes out with a bang with Jake One lifting a sample from Nate Dogg, ending the whole album out with a victoriously funky conclustion. Hawthorne has some of his best vocals on this song and as what just seems typical by now, the hook was absolutely amazing 10/10 Final Verdict I obviously love the hell out of this album and I have played this more than anythning else this year. This also happens to be my favorite project to be released this year and I just feel instantly happy whenever I listen to this. Now a lot of you are proly getting ready to torch my rating system here from all the 10s I put out. Fact is these songs aren't perfect and I don't pretend that they are, but I just have such an intense love for them that they get that score While this is personally an amazing project, many of you might think its wack or just alright, especially if you only like Hip-Hop. This won't go down as a cla**ic and it probably won't be talked about much in the future, neither does it try to change anything in the game. For me thought, this is one of the most downright infectious and fun things I have listened to in several years and I look forward to any new material by these guys 9.75/10
