Fortino R. Padilla Period 2 4-7-14 Caesar Gateway Essay Julius Caesar was military genies and the dictator of Rome. Julius Caesar was a military expert, politician, and high government official. Shakespeare describes Julius Caesar in two main ways his policy beliefs his motives for making choices. His policy beliefs was to trying to take over the senate and much more. His motives for making choices were that he did not listen to soothsayer above the Ides of March and his faith. What was were some of Julius Caesar policy beliefs? Julius Caesar policy beliefs were to try to take over the senate. Caesar was gaining power and he wants more. In (Document C) “Caesar faced steadily growing opposition from the senator of Rome and many believed that he would put end in republic in Rome”. By 49 B.C the senate ordered Caesar to hand over his army to control. He refused instead Caesar advanced on Italy. The Rome law said “that a governor was not allowed to leave his province. Caesar just ignored the law”. The (Documents C) “Caesar returned to Rome in 45 B.C as dictator and Caesar allowed the senate to continue working but he replaced some of them with his own men.” Many of the senates believed that Caesar had too much power and they thought he would turn Rome to a dictator then republic. In 44 B.C Caesar was murdered by the senate because they feared that he was too obsessed with his power, and with his own importance. Caesar was murder in the Senate House in Rome. After the murder Rome divided. What were some of Julius Caesar motives for making choices? In the( Movie Julius Caesar)”The fortune teller warns Caesar about The Ides of March but Caesar just ignores him.” Approaches Caesar and critically warns him (twice) of he the Ides of March. If Caesar knew if he went to the meeting he would die. He still goes and he last warns was told. Caesar made a bad decision by not listening to the fortune teller and his wife dream about him about being k**ed. Caesar was not going to the meeting, but he was convinced to go to meeting. In the movie (Julius Caesar) in his movie Julius Caesar, a soothsayer – or fortune teller – says to Caesar: “Beware the Ides of March.” Caesar should have listened to the fortune teller so he could have live long and ruler long to. I think why Caesar did not listen to the future teller because he knew he would die. Caesar was a great man he chose to what had in his mind instead of others. Caesar thought were that he had to do the best of Rome and take over it. Caesar thought in his mind can be the best choices but he does not listen to other ideas. Caesar had many policy ideas and great ideas of helping Rome become better. Caesar policy was to take over the senate and gain power. Our mind can do tricks on us and that what happen to Caesar he was k** in the Ides of March, took over the senate.
