Davey Ingersoll (vocals/guitar), Mark Watrous (guitar), Shane Middleton (ba**), and Isaac Carpenter (drums) comprise the heavy rock sound of Loudermilk. Formed in 1995 in the suburban town of Tri-Cities, WA, Loudermilk thrived on the infectious rise of bands like Guns N' Roses and Motley Crue. They also followed the riveting grunge scene happening four hours north in Seattle. Barely in their teens, they started a Guns N' Roses cover band called .22s and Tulips and played local gigs for fun. By the time high school graduation rolled around, the members of Loudermilk knew they wouldn't be joining the conventional business world. In 1998, Loudermilk released Man With Gun k**s 3 on their own She's an Anchor. American Recordings got a hold of an unreleased demo, pushing Loudermilk into the big leagues. Tours with Motley Crue and Megadeth showed them the road while their sound shaped up. Their rock & roll dreams appeared to be coming true, but their time with American was short-lived and their debut album would never see the light of day. Loudermilk was still determined to make it and DreamWorks gave them a chance, signing the band in early 2002. Their first album, The Red Record, was released several months later. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
