Kuniva - Parking Lot Lesson (Interlude) lyrics

I remember being 13 years old on Easter Sunday and I was at church and my homeboy asked me to go out to the parking lot with him to grab something out of his car. So while we out there, two guys just jump out of nowhere, put a big a** .44 in my face, and the guy who had the gun had a big long scar going down his face, black as hell. And, you know, they ran our pockets and, you know, they stuck us up. The whole time I'm thinking "In a church parking lot, my n***a for real?" I came across him again in life and he didn't even recognize who I was. But I knew who he was because I never forget his face. And that's when I realize that violence and karma goes hand in hand. Because while he was sitting there playing patty-cake with his daughter I could've got him but I just let him go. And I'm glad I did
