Brothers Masamichi and Wataru Yamada first formed King's Evil in 1989, when they were enamored with the gory imagery and vicious riffing found in thrash metal and the emerging d**h metal scene. The band actually broke up in 1993, but in 1998 they came back together with drummer Elji Murakami coming into the band. They produced a demo in 2000 but cut back their activity when the Yamada brothers joined Ritual Carnage. Ba**ist Takachika Nakajima joined a year later, and they decided to dedicate themselves full time to the band and work on signing a record deal.
