I.Z. aka IDzeroNo - New Earth lyrics

I drew IdZero. I listened for days! He has such an array of uploads to explore. I was drawn to a guitar riff he played that I found myself humming so cut it up and built the song around that and a great keyboard part of his as well. I've been working with Javolenus on our holiday album and he'd given me the stems for his William Blake track (brilliant) so I cut and arranged those as a loop for rhythm and structure. Copperhead recorded some drums for me in the chorus's (thank you!!!) to give the song the extra energy it needed. I played ba** and a couple of little keyboard parts. I had a really hard time mixing for some reason but hope you will enjoy. The lyrics are inspired by a book I'm reading with my husband called A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. The book is exposing me to myself and the aspects of me that are egoic. I'm seeing my flaws and weaknesses so fully, with that deeper part of me that loves without judgment, and is present in the timeless now. I'm working on trying to make that part of me more prominent and loosen my grip on the rest. It is a journey!
