The Government accountability office, Is reporting, That our fresh water supply is decreasing faster than it is being replaced, At this pace, 40 states, All across America will be faced, With water shortages within the next decade, But let's not blame it solely on the droughts, Blame it on the poor management and over use of our local water bank accounts, When you deposit less than you take out, Without a doubt, It's basic math, You are left to feel the raft of an overdraft, The combination, Of rising temperatures, growing population, Excessive use, and abuse, Leaves us with only one thing to do, Tighten up, Our water conservation, If we fixed our leaky faucets and leaky toilets, We would save, 11 million dollars and 5 billion gallons a day, Just in the United States, And if everyone begins installing, Low flow shower heads, faucets and toilets, Our savings would be enormous, So If we care about the future of our environment and economy, We must make water efficiency, A major focus over the next century.
