Genius Community - External Outreach Thread lyrics

Hey Scholars! For the last few weeks I've spent some time browsing other online communities to see who knew about/may be interested in Genius. My first stop was Reddit, where I decided to check out /r/hiphopheads. I looked for the person with with the best, most detailed comments, and sent them a message. Turns out that person was @GaryTheJerk, our best new Editor and one of our most knowledgeable Editors on Bay Area hip hop. The process was really smooth: I sent him a quick message, Gary replied later that day and became an editor four days later! Here's the message I sent: “Hey! I'm EwokABdevito, a moderator over at Genius.com—a community where we focus on fleshing out meaning and context in art (formerly RapGenius). You seem to be incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken, we could use your presence around Genius.com (at least on your favorite artists!).
