The "Tragedy Of Julius Caesar" Is Still Used Today In Many Different Subjects , Marcus Brutus Was A Very Brave Person In This Role & & He Was A Good Friend Of Julius Caesars ; He Is Shown Through His Personal And Political Beliefs & For The Motives & Choices He Makes Behind The Decisions He Make . Brutus has a governmental view that no one, especially Caesar, should be king of Rome. Stated in document “A “Brutus says not that I loved Caesar less but I loved Rome more. In this line I think Brutus is trying to say that he loved his country to much to let even somebody else he did love get in the way of his country so he thinks k**ing Caesar will help this all . Also stated in (Document A) "Brutus sacrificed his friend and benefactor to what he believed was the cause of liberty." Also stated in (Document A) I think this line means that Brutus k**s his friend for what he though was good. Brutus thinks he is saving his country by k**ing Caesar. Brutus's personal & political beliefs show what kind of character/person he really is. Brutus's motive for the choices he makes is behind patriotism. "Brutus was a sincere patriot who had served as an urban praetor and governor of Cyprus" stated in (Document A). Therefore because Brutus served as a governor he thinks he knows how to run his country himself & that they really didn't need Caesar to be king/ruler. "His effort and the effort of his fellow conspirators to restore the republic ironically came to a naught" Also stated in (Document A). I personally think that this means that his effort to help his country came to an end when his fellow members became against him for k**ing Caesar and Brutus eventually k**ed himself. Brutus's ways of thinking and his actions brings out his true identity , it wasnt that Brutus hated Caesar he just thought his country was more important than Caesar Which Led Him to make the decisions he made as a character to k** Caesar & then himself .So as you can see Brutus's personal, political beliefs and the motives he makes behind his choices reveals his real character.
