Edwin - Week 8 Reading Journal lyrics

9/30/13 Today I read about Israel. I read that if Israel wouldn't have been rebellious, it would have remained from 1200 B.C to Now. It was like discipline. After Alexander the Great Died, 4 Generals took his power. Before Alexander was the Persian Empire ruling under Darius. Before even Persia or the Hellenistic empire of Alexander was the Babylonian empire of Nebuchadnezzar, who took many Jews captive in the 500's B.C 10/1/13 Today I read about something that happened in the 1st Century and onward and backward. I read about my favorite book to read at school, THE GREAT CONTROVERSY. This talked about how God dealt with Israel as a loving Father deals with a rebellious son. I read about stubborn refusal. I read about rejection and evil against the truth 10/2/13 Today I read The GREAT CONTROVERSY. I read about the pursue for the ministry of love. This is my favorite book, I read only to page 10, and it is filled with inspired writings from E.G White. I read about how the cup was almost full. I read about how one had come to his vine-yard, seeking fruit 10/3/13 Today I read about THE GREAT CONTROVERSY. Today I red about Titus the Roman General. He and his troops destroyed Jerusalem. He tried to spare the Temple at Jerusalem, yet, it was burned to the ground anyways. Many people were sold to slavery. This was a dark time for Israel 10/4/13 Today I read a book from Mr. Varnell's books. I read THE SHACK. This book is about a person named Mack. Today I read about a part where Make meets Jesus, and Jesus tells him to walk on water. I read about a person getting stuck in a canoe. "Some people wrestle with the question, where is God in this world filled with unspeakable pain?"- The Shack
