9/2 Holiday 9/3 Freebie 9/4 I've been reading The Hunger Games. It's a story about a place called Panem and they have this thing called the Hunger games where 24 tributes compete in a battle in which life and d**h is on the line. The main character Katniss volunteers for her sister, Primrose, in the games. She then goes to the games and goes through many hardships. Today I read the part when she and Peeta, one of the tributes, are in the cave and he is d**hly sick and has blood poisoning, so she is trying to take care of him. She almost ends up losing him,but he ends up fine. 9/6 Today, I read the part of the book where Katniss and Peeta are in the cave. Something happens, and Katniss has to go and get something from a large meeting area called the cornucopia. Peeta's leg got slashed so she has to go and get medicine from the cornucopia. But because Peeta won't let her leave without him, she puts him to sleep with a special medicine she got before. When she gets there, the other people, tributes, are there too. Because they all see each other a huge fight breaks out and she also dies by a girl who pinned her down with a knife in her hand. But luckily, she manages to escape in time.
