Bryson Djuan Tiller was born on January 2, 1993, in Louisville, Kentucky.[1] His mother died when he was four years old.[6] He has four brothers.[7] After Tiller left school, he went to work at Papa John's Pizza and UPS. Tiller started receiving with some ma**ive internet attention from music industry insiders with his breakout single "Don't", which he initially released on his SoundCloud page.[8] These early co-signs from a high-profile record producer Timbaland and the Canadian rapper Drake, it led into a major-label attention for Tiller, with him eventually choosing to sign a creative partnership with RCA Records, which was announced on August 25, 2015.[9] Tiller was offered a chance to sign with Drakes OVO Sound record label, but declined the offer.[10] On October 2, 2015, Tiller released his debut studio album, T R A P S O U L, which debuted at number 11 on the US Billboard 200. Talking about his musical style, Tiller said, "It's just trap and hip hop-influenced R&B, the perfect marriage between hip hop and R&B."[2] Tiller has cited American singer Omarion as his biggest influence.[12] His other influences include R.
