Chicago's aptly named Bludgeon features Mark Duca (vocals/rhythm guitar), Carlos Alvarez (lead guitar), Eric Karol (ba**), and Matt Dezynski (drums), and performs thrashy mid-paced d**h metal. Formed in 1997, the band recorded their "Inner Hell" demo tape the following year and were eventually spotted by Manowar ba**ist Joey DeMaio, who made them the first signing to his Magic Circle Music label.
