10.28.13 I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." The flashback revealed that Tom Riddle wanted to stay at the school during the summer break. Unfortunately, with all the attacks, the headmaster said it wasn't safe for him. Riddle asked if he could stay if they found out who's behind the attacks. The headmaster said yes, so Tom Riddle went to this other student who knew of the beast that k**ed the student. Tom told the student that he would have to tell the headmaster. 10.29.13 I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." The student is trying to keep the beast safe, but Tom wants to tell the headmaster. Harry came back from the flashback, and he realized that the student turned out to be Hagrid. He told Ron and Hermione, and it made sense to them now. Hagrid was expelled from Hogwarts, so this explained why he was expelled. 10.30.13 I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Harry was walking to the Gryffindor room, and he was Neville at the top of the staircase nervous. He told Harry that something happened to his stuff, and once they got there, his stuff was everywhere. When Harry started to put things back in place, he noticed that Tom Riddle's Diary was missing. Someone stole it. 10.31.13 I'm reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Hermione was attacked, and this made everything worse. The attack made Harry and Ron realize that they needed to talk to Hagrid before anything else happened. They used Harry's invisibility cloak to go to Hagrid's, but shortly after they arrived, Lucius Malfoy and Fudge arrived too. Fudge wanted to take Hagrid away as a precaution, and Lucius wanted to suspend Dumbledore for failing to stop the attacks.
