ANDREW
It's funny. This, uh...This necklace reminds me of this really random memory of my mother. I was a little kid, and I was cryin' for one reason or another. And, uh... She was just like, you know, cradling me and rocking me back and forth. I can remember seeing the little balls in this thing just floating back and forth. And, uh... And there was just, like snot dripping down my nose, right? And, uh… She gave me her sleeve… and she told me to blow my nose into it. And I remember thinking, even as a little kid, like... "Wow! This is love. This is love."
SAM
Large? I think I see one.
ANDREW
Shut up.
SAM
Yeah, I do. Wait. Wait, wait. We should save it or something. Okay. Don't move.
ANDREW
Okay. We could put it in my scrapbook, if I had a scrapbook.
SAM
That it?
ANDREW
I think so. I don't really feel any more coming.
SAM
Well, if you do, just let me know. I'll get the cup, okay?
SAM
This was such a good idea.
ANDREW
Who are you?
SAM
I'm your new friend Sam. Tissue?
ANDREW
Come here. f**, this hurts so much.
SAM
Yeah, I know. But that is life. If nothing else, that's life, you know. It's real. Sometimes it f**in' hurts. To be honest, it's sort of all we have. How are you feelin'?
ANDREW
Safe. When I'm with you, I feel so safe. Like I'm home.
