Biography[edit]
Winning Jah was born in Kano State and raised in Edo State , Nigeria,he is mostly noted for his humanitarian lyrics and elegant style of Reggae music , like in most of his songs[2] from childhood, he dedicated love for hand made African etnic instruments, sometimes he uses recycled materials to create his prefered musical sounds. initialy he played Djembe with "Ebohon Cultural Centre" during Edo state cultural events and other ceremonies.
Eearly life[edit]
Winning Jah's musical career started at the age of six and at the age of eleven he proceeded in changing his usual music hobby to his Professional job as he desired. his mentor was his mother (Mrs Stella Osagie) ,eho use to be an"African traditional singer", he studied Djembe with Ebohon Cultural Centre, later upgraded his technics by attending workshop with Mamady Keita. Early 90's after he returned from music research tour, accompanied by his uncle, he first rehearsed his percussion with Fela Kuti searching employment under the band of the legend, Fela kuti couldn't employ him because of his minor age, he later changed his music style to Reggae, he was inspired by reggae musicians like Lucky Dube, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff, he coverted to become a Rastafarian in late 90's, He traveled to Mali, Niger studying various african instruments, he first played the Nyabinghi rhythm in his first street shows in Gambia. He has lived in various countries in Africa where reggae music becomes an addict, attending local clubs, music competitions, performing as a Solo musician, he later relocated to Italy in the year 2000, as a matter of political problems in Nigeria, he proceeded to become an events organizer due to his experience he got from street performance and his musical fame. In a 2002 interview with La stampa, he explained that his stage name came signifies a testimony in all his struggles. Winning Jah has cited Tiken Jah Fakoly, Bob Marley , Alpha Blondy, Fela Kuti, Lucky Dube, Chaka Demus, , Jah Cure , and Baba Sissoko, in the past as his key musical influences. In the aforementioned interview with La Stampa, he said he references social awareness issues in his music. In 2017 interview with Nigerian observer news he has cited Majek Fashek, "Mandators Victor Essiet". He has promised bringing real reggae music back to his motherland.[3][4]

Social Contributions[edit]
In 2008 he founded a charity Organization "AMC1D Aiuta Bambini Onlus" to sustain disables and single mothers in Africa, Winning Jah has worked with local and international non governmental organizations like UNICEF, Save The Children and Red Cross, he is one of the most appreciated activist, for his elegant style and opinions in humanitarian programs. he is gifted with 6 Africa languages, 3 international languages, due to his travelling Adventure for charity programs and Musical research.
Music Career[edit]
On the 06-07-2015, he released a single titled "To Whom It may Concerned" featured NaXis De Genesis a.k.a NaXis DG, a "multiple award Eu winner" in Pop music, the song was written by Winning Jah to enable him create social awareness about the situations of most children living with difficulties in collaboration with UNICEF UK the audio track ran for 3:00 minutes, while the official video ran for 4mins 07 seconds subtitled in French language and immediately uploaded to Youtube on 19 July 2015 and remixed in 2016 as an album track "Nouveau Business". he had an intervew with UNICEF volunteers, while he explained the reality of the track.[5]
On 22 July 2016, Winning Jah released his debut studio album "Nouveau Business". The 11 track album, was released under VPAL record label, the parent label to VP Records which is a fusion of Ragamuffin, Root Reggae and dancehall, he signed a distribution deal for three years with VPAL record label in 2016 June, the track "Mr Cock" became popular in Africa and beyond. The album Nouveau Business was uploaded to MTV, by MTV administrators, it became an international anthem, all over Africa clubs, Dj mix tapes.
To date, Winning Jah has recorded and released one published album. Three unpublished followed by three published singles, He also has taught traditional drum in italy, Pinerolo, and instructed various Djembe workshop at schools, and Spectacle Centre in Italy, officially collaborating with City of Turin city of "Villar Perosa" in Italy for musical and cultural events. He is currently residing in Italy. .[2]

Coat of many colours was the 1 of 11 track from the debut studio album "Nouveau Business" by Winning Jah, released in 22-07-2016, by VP Records as he illustrated the no discrimination intro. In the history of Reggae music and Rastafari almost impossible fighting Gay rights, the crooner of Coat of many colours sang his lyrics in brief, the track talked about stopping abuses and discriminations on disabilities, LGBT, s**,race and all sort of discriminations, which has never been sang by other Rastas, this track became a reference in most Gay Clubs in Africa and Europe. Religious Crisis[edit]
In 2016 he released a studio single "C-Krit" which so many Religious persons retained as offensive, he immediately released another single to featuring Baba Sissoko on the Jahsapp single to be released in , 2017.[7] [8]
In 2017 Winning Jah declared not participating in music concerts, during his interview with the Nigeria voice Press he accepted only perfomancess that has to do with persons in natural challenges, precisely at the "ILO" Campus of ONU in Turin city, Italy
