Ninjas, swiftly as the mist- battling with shurikens of reptile skins
And daggers forged of night
Deadly as a poisoned kiss, like the life you'll miss
If you must turn away, or if you fall in line
Never underestimate the sparks that do not fade
Never try to separate the songbird from its song
Never can you duplicate the dance of Shangri-La
When we ride-we leave a street so scorched
That only magic vagabonds can stand the raging flames
All inside we rush because to tarry would be terrible
And make us all the same
Ninjas- the winds are working wild
The torrid tides toss every happy, hopeful humor
Far from where we lie
Listen, with just a naked eye
It's just the land beneath us growing strong along
And drawing ever nigh
Never underestimate the little left to lose
Never let a loser bear your news
Clever are the cruelest and the loudest, loutish loons
When we ride- there's a quest we keep abreast of as the record falls
And grows another face
Great divide-it's just celestial forces bent on reckoning
When we ride-we leave a street so scorched
That only magic vagabonds can stand the raging flames
All inside we rush because to tarry would be terrible
And make us all the same
