We pulled him on the roof and tied him down.
He said he needed proof, wanted to know if
his dream was strong.
But hey, the air was sweet. The air was sweet.
Why did we not say goodbye?
On our way down we rested a few,
rested a few moments.
Thought and talk then, since it was the first
of our nightly outsides.
Now it's early, and the morning dew
leaves our footprints in the gra**.
We will never know the
truth and the truth won't know us.
