In all of its components, a rose
Is a rose, in every petal it is entire
And the outline of this continent always
Matches the whole coast to the millimeter
And the least wisp of mist
The biggest skyfilling cloud, so
A rose right down to the smallest
Outline of each one of its petals
And the space suffused with scent-molecules
Between these petals is that rose
And doesn't know it.
