[Intro]
Saturday mornings
The weekend stars now
Saturday mornings
The weekend stars now
[Verse 1]
8 AM, I wake up, there is no school
So I know exactly what I'm going to do
Turn on the TV to my favorite channel
And watch a lot of animporphic animals
Wacky animation, lots of crazy antics
Lots of flashing noises, it feels like a panic
That's what I love, the excessiveness of it
Especially when they get hit by an ACME brick
Or when they try to fix a problem they cannot fix
Blow the whole house up and get away with it quick
Real life seems pale compared to cartoons
That's why I hate having to grow up soon
I wish it was Saturday Morning all the time
So I can just sit back, relax and unwind
Stare into the screen, believe it's just a dream
Cartoons are my thing cause I'm just an underling
[Prelude]
Saturday Mornings
I wish they'd never end
Saturday Mornings
I wish they'd never end
[Verse 2]
Another Saturday Morning, but this one is different
Because this morning, I got a Disneyland ticket
I'm about the experience what this land contains
It's been years that I've had it on the brain
I arrive at the gate, the experience is so great
The magic they make really makes my body shake
Excitement all around me, I can't believe it's happening
I'll be having fun but my parents will be taxing...
It's a long day, I got to be everything
I got to see life as if it was Walt Disney's dream
Plus I rode all the rides, saw all the shows
But it's midnight so I guess it's time to go
I wish it was Saturday Morning all the time
So I can just sit back, relax and unwind
Not have to worry about going to school
Just wear shades and look like I'm cool
