When snow falls
everything seems to take
on a cleaner and a pure aspect.
Soft crystals,
fragile and inconsistent
when it has been set alone,
but which once grouped together
are able to cover any shape or building
with a soft velvety blanket.
When the snow falls on the ground,
all sounds and vibrations drop down.
When the snow falls on the ground,
all sounds and vibrations become subdued
the horizon has no limits!
the horizon has no limits!
We gaze in rapture at the sight
of these docile flakes coming to rest gently,
slowly, politely,
as if afraid of hurting anyone.
The snow is fundamentally
a kind of gentle creature,
with no enemies,
apart from the Sun which,
bearing down upon its coat,
transforms the soft mantle back
to its original watery state
where it will remain
until next winter, snow crystal
until next winter, snow crystal...
