Brutus a man of Rome. A man who believed that his country was in corrupt. seen in (Doc A). He believed that the country was being controlled by his own friend who became a tyrant. Who corrupted the republic to his control. Brutus believed that by sacrificing his own friend for the country hat it would help restore the country.
Brutus believed that the country was everything. He saw that it was it was being destroyed. Brutus saw that there was no democracy anymore. He saw that the country had become a dictatorship. His friend Caesar was becoming a a power hungry man. He wanted to take control of everything. Brutus had joined with a band of a**a**in who would eventually k** Caesar. Brutus believed that the republic had outlived itself and grown to be corrupt.Which made him turn to murder as a solution.He and the band decided that the best way was to gather in the counseling hall during a meeting.
Brutus didn't want the country he loved to be corrupt with this plague of tyranny. His motive were the country and the people. he wanted to free them from the controlling tyrant. The controlling power drove in. It made him do what he did. But even when he did become a murderer he was still a true roman. He was still a honest man of Rome. He was told by his other friend Ca**ias, as being to most honest man of Rome.
Brutus made his speech effective in persuading the people by using tone and rhetorical devices. Brutus was compa**ionate when referring to how he loved Caesar as much as Caesar`s friends of his speech. Brutus was showing compa**ion on lines 18 - 20 when he said, "If there be any in this a**embly, any dear friend of Caesar's, to him I say that Brutus's love to Caesar was no less than his."(From the Play Julius Caesar). Brutus said this to help the people understand the sorrow he felt.
In the end Brutus was a good person that loved his country, which led to some of his motives. But also made his persuasion even better to the people by trying to reside to the being friends with Caesar rather then enemies
