[Verse: Sounut]
Reproduced the beat cuz it's coming off the street
And its raw as a mother f**er going on repeat
But its neat
The way you think sugar is sweet
And every single day I say its sweet to meet
Another person on the street
Inn the blistering heat
Or the burning cold with the frozen meat
You're an athlete, you excrete success
I'm a short guy with feelings to profess
You're the top of the league, nothing but the best
Guys lining up just to pa** your test
Queen of the land no need to stress
Cuz everybody acts to f**ing impress
Welcome to the twenty first century
Soon to be the time that just fades into your memory
No remedy exists for this travesty you see
It's something that just happens no matter who we be
Now look at your life and see how did you live it?
Did you do well or did you just sh** it
Did you fall down in your life and just bit it
Or did you get up and say f** it and hit it
That answer depends on the people you invest
The people in your life who are there with you to jest
The people who are there day and night to confess
Who do you love and tell me are they the best
Now take a step back, hear the beat as it's pumping
Start to get wild when you hear the ba** is thumpin
Start to get pumped and you just start jumping
Perfect distraction for the people who are stumping
Rappers out here talking booties and hoes
Turning their back on society's woes
Loving bad b**hes who are dancing up poles
If that's your f**ing problem b**h you better just go
Let's talk about the f**ing problems that I tend to see
People walk around wearing coats of misery
The minimum wage gets you trapped into a cage
Cuz it's 7:25 an hour with no buying power
That's the type of sh** that gets you fueled with rage
In this life I'm living
I know I'ma be given
Its the way Ive been drivin
Its what I see thats fitin
The dose of generosity
Is my philosophy
Avoid the atrocities
k** the monstrosities
From a young age I was told I was great
Strike that, I was told that I need to be great
Dreams turn to money its like a financial state
And everybody's judged by who can pa** the gate
It's in our fate that we see the need to succeed
Not saying that's a bad thing but the pressure tends to bleed
Cause the pressures of this life just make you want to concede
It's sad how much of the world just runs on other's greed
The top One percent owns a fifth of the wealth
Other people are drinking a fifth of jack against their health
Every single thing just turns into a race
And you're gonna just fail if you don't keep the pace
People turn to dicks just to finish in first place
Everyone's a dick and that's the sad case
You need to succeed and that's the american dream
But that same dream is just tearing at the seem
Forget being nice, everybody's just mean
What about the happiness is that a pipe dream
While being told we need money to win
Somethings being ignored it's kind of like a sin
People's mental state, it's either max or min
Not a simple thing that can be solved with some gin
People think that mental health is tied with gun control
But if anyone on capitol hill will look at a simple poll
They'll see that these two issues are on two separate poles
We need to look at them separately and not as a whole
Corporations own our education that's a fact
Take a look at Pearson and see how things are stacked
Standardized tests where the bubbles need to be blacked
I thought there was research that would prove that was wack
Then you look at our mental states and you need to pay attention
Cuz every single f**ing person's dealing with depression
It's the pressures of this life that lead you to concession
It's the perfect person that's geared toward succession
Everybody's left alone to sip on some tea
That's the other part of the situation we see
People feel alone, and they don't know where to be
So they try to cope with it, by doing a drinking spree
We're all broken inside and that never goes away
Everybody's got their inner demons every day
We put up with so much sh** its just easy to walk away
Say goodbye to all our problems and leave this earth today
But we d on't we keep on living life day to day
But mental health needs to change that's what I gotta say
Cuz tomorrow morning you don't want the headlines to display
That so and so blew his brains out in the alley way
