A doorbell rings.
And when I walk through the door my day begins.
The sweet warm air comforting me every time I enter.
The first face I see with a smile greeting just for me.
Stepping forward I see more faces
A friend of friend of greater friends.
An unusual presence naked to my eye yet quite felt when I reach out for it.
A tree.
It can be hours of wasting time
But gladly memories worth keeping in my mind.
The sound of a train is heard and when that sound hits my ear.
I know it is my time to leave.
I gather my things, I say farewell.
I kiss them all spiritually too well.
To them I hold dearest.
For them I keep my conscience clearest.
The door shuts behind me.
The alarm has stopped, the time I checked has been clocked.
