Meet me in blanket
Meet me in blind
‘cause I’m so defeated
‘cause I’m terrified
And all my doors are locked
Though there’s nothing inside
Just a head full of hopes
And a neat place to hide
And oh, such a tired
Poem it would be
To say my two silence
To gasp and to breathe
And oh, such a crooked
House we would have built
Wickets for walls
All the wines we’d have spilled
So cast me out quickly
Fling me in shame
‘cause I’ve been unholy
‘cause I’ve been untamed
And hold me out from my neck
So the whole world can see
How you’ve been so kind
How you’ve been so clean
And oh, such a tired
Poem it would be
To say my two silence
To gasp and to breathe
And oh, such a crooked
House we would have built
Wickets for walls
All the wines we’d have spilled
