Ok so the child wakes up and finds a cabin. It can't remember who it is or anything. The book introduces another character that came out of nowhere. Her name is Elizabeth. Elizabeth is the first human contact that the child has had in a long time and through the communication, the child stars to remember. So far its only remembered its name, Isabel. And im guessing that Isabel is a girl

So Isabel is trusting Elizabeth a little, not to much. Isabel is accepting food from elizabeth but she stills runs off into a safe distance. Elizabeth is trying to find a way to keep her discovery to herself. And the book explains how elizabeths family isnt very prosperous despite their fancy house because their loyalty to the Roman Catholic Church is expensive

So this book is weird. I have reread the intro lots of times, and it still confuses me. I kinda wish the author was a little more detailed on describing the situation aspect rather than the fairy tale aspect because i don't whats going on. i see all the colors and things that the author wants me to see but he doesn't explain his events well, like time, place, or even year. its frustrating haha

Its getting late and Elizabeth has to get home, she leaves Isabella at the place and goes home. The Book then introduces Elizabeth's mom as Jane. Jane was married at sixteen aas a very beautiful girl, now shes all pale and gray in the short time span of 20 years. At night, Elizabeth tosses and turns in her bed trying to figure what shes going to give the wild girl (isabella) to eat and where. Suddenly Roberts shows up at the door
