The Greek creation myth and the Genesis creation story both share a villain. The villain in the story was a snake. Eating fruit from the forbidden tree was sin. The snake deceived Eve into convincing Adam to sin. The villain in the myth was Cronos. Cronos terrorized earth, cla**ifying him as a villain. He ate his babies which isn't too good either. Both tales share a villain, Cronos and the snake were both benevolent.
The myth and the story don't share all the same archetypes. The myth has an epic battle that the story doesn't. There was a big fight between Zeus and Cronos. In the story there was no physical fighting. The story has a crossroad that myth does not. Eve goes through a crossroad when she takes a bite and goes from pure to sinner. The myth has no such crossroad, Zeus stays good and Cronos stays bad. Just because both the tales are about creation, doesn't necessarily mean they have the same archetypes.
