[Verse 1]
Imagine in the little city in Philly where money is effie and streets is gritty
There was a young boy name Jimmy he was about:
6 years old, 4 feet tall, on a good path until his Uncle tryta take his papa's role
But before that, let me go back before the drama, before his daddy divorce his mama
Before his jeans were designer
It was the school of hard-knock, he graduated with honors
But they couldn't keep him down, wanted to be a doctor
Best believe his favorite song was Big Poppa
Probably cuz he grew up without a father
Still his mom tryta keep him on a road to success
Always wanted to help, she felt so blessed
But couldn't rest, knowing that the bills aren't paid
So Uncle Ronnie moved in and tryta help the things
Single mom tryta keep Jimmy from the wrong things
But Uncle Ronnie introduced him to the dope game
Give him the bricks so that he could cut the c**aine
Told him his profits to blow up like propane
I couldn't tell you how he felt, but somewhere along the road-less travel he lost himself
[Verse 2]
Imagine in the little city in Philly where money is effie and streets is gritty
We follow our character Jimmy he 5 foot 10, hair on his chin
Got a little older, heart is colder, they stop calling him Jim
Stopped going to school nowadays all he knows is how to sin
Did I mention his circle of friends started to trim
Cuz he don't trust nobody, Rule #1 is don't love nobody
Everybody scared of him except Mom Dukes
This not the boy she raised, she so confused
She tried to talk to him but it's really no use
He about his paper, if you're not, then see you later
Three years earlier Ronnie dies soon he had to take his dope game over
Felt the weight of the responsibility on his shoulders
He remember when he was younger his mom calling him a little solider
That's why he keep a gun in his holster, but continued to rule with an iron fist
And walk around the street with a state of bliss
But inside, Paranoia is getting worse
It's gonna be the d**h of him if the d** don't to him first
He wish he could've erase the pain and go into the past
Before he started selling ‘caine and getting that cash
But, feel like the entire world was just laughing at him
So he determined never to go back again
[Verse 3]
Imagine New York City where crime is plenty, there's no such thing as pity
You see our boy Jimmy but he don't go by that, he go by J now
Big money selling crystal aching yay now
Connection ranging from Houston to A-town
And did I mention he don't chill with the same crowd
Why? He all about his money, kingpin status and the boy didn't even hit 20
On an evening when it's sunny he came to the block
Seen a kid pushing rocks right in his spot, and smacked him in his face
Told him he had to move, cuz it was Jimmy's place
The kid disappeared — without a trace
But one day the kid came back, with an all-black gat in an all-black bag
And put the tool to Jimmy's back
And Jimmy tried to move, he put two in Jimmy's head
Before help could come little Jimmy was dead
How tragic, everything he worked for his whole life disappeared in seconds like magic
And mama can't pay for the funeral, so she collected money from church people outta basket
