White Seagull flying on the morning
If I had wings like yours
I'd sail to the dawn and the eastern seas
To my homeland, jagged, rocky mountains
I'm looking over my shoulder oh Lord,
keep my eyes on Thee
Where will we be when summer comes so warm and easy?
Will we still be there when the ocean turns to flames?
Red sun came up and another day
It caught me looking back so far away
Waves were breaking in my head
I was thinking back on things I had said
I'm sorry Lord, I'm sorry when I forget you
I know I can't live looking back to the land
