Well me and Jenny
We've been together for nearly fourteen years
We've seen a lot of hard times
We've seen a lot of tears
When I take my Jenny out to eat
The people, they just stop and stare
They hate her country odor
And dislike her scraggly hair
Don't you know that I love my old Jenny
I will 'til the day that I die
We've been together all these years
And we're still seeing eye to eye
Now last summer my old Jenny
She was the mother of a set of twins
And though I were'nt their father
I still loved them and I took them in
Well, now I know what you must be thinking
My old Jenny, she's pretty bad
But I'd do anything to keep her
She's the best dog I ever had
Don't you know that I love my old Jenny
The reason you see
She's treed more possums than any other dog
