Into the North window of my chamber glows the pale star with uncanny light
Hellish hours of blackness it shines there
Beneath the horned waning moon
Leering down from the black vault
Like an insane winking eye
Shadows descend from the pulsating star
Green mist arises from the lake
Shrouds in a sinister midnight haze my tower
Close to the midnight hour
The bronze gates burst open
Empties forth the throng to blacken the plain
A horde of green voiceless things
To carry me forth to the stars
Into the sky of shining spheres
Swept through the open gate
Into the Phosphorescent Abyss
Past worlds of monstrosities
Quivering in vibrating harmony
Pa**ing through my body
Devouring one another
Where have gone the pure air and blue sky?
Space belongs to me now,
They devour and dissolve for me?
In the whirling cataclysm of chaos
Shreiking, moanind nightwinds
Into the gulf of the outer stars
Clutching vainly at my soul
Lost are my cries in the hell-born winds
Clawing at the nothingness
Murderous invisible torrent
Toward the unknown worlds and worlds,
Shiver in the night-wind til oblivion claims me
Pent-up viciousness of desolate eternities
Unnumbered Aeon-dead antiquities
Above the dawn-lit world of foolish man
Plunged into the blackness
Metallic music of the solar wind
Grasping at the nothingness
Into the c*nt of chaos . . .
