On the happiest day,
I see the saddest face.
Who could act this way
at this time and place.
Expected to do so much,
in such little time.
The complex thoughts,
of a man in his prime.
Time is young.
It never slows down.
Face the world,
without a frown.
If we always seem happy,
then no one will know.
Though our actions we speak.
We put on a show.
On the saddest day,
put on a happy face.
Work with style,
an action of grace.
The older I grow,
more tired I will be.
But though my actions,
the world will never see.
