This is a guide constructed from my experience with editing, this will be further revised and reformatted.
Important aspects:
SCOUTING.
When annotating a song with 20+ unreviewed annotations,
Usually there are more "Poor" annotations, than there are "Fair" ones.
The editor should scan through the song and delete the "Poor" ones,
And if the editor is knowledgeable enough,
they should find the "Fair" annotations and edit them to "Great".
RESEARCH.
Make sure you are researching the claims made by the original author when you edit,
Don't just take their word for it!
MAXIMUM IQ GAIN.
There is an inherent limit to how many annotations we
Can create, edit, reject, etc... in a given time.
To maximize your IQ gain, open up 2 windows
Reject 6-7 "Poor" annotations in one window,
Then create or edit 1 or 2 annotations in the other window.
This way you will not be subject to a minor penalty box,
And you will gain the most IQ from your time editing,
While still being able to produce quality work.
MESSAGING.
It is important to message users when you are rejecting their annotations.
Open up Notepad or something and save a few statements, like these.
EXPERIMENTAL.
