All these images repeated on the walls
In a factory of prosthetics
And these angels dressed in white are our demons in disguise
Whispers in our ears
Obey without a second thought
Our hearts have hardened and we will turn our heads away from anything that isn't the brightest diamond
Because we've forgotten what brilliance is all about
A lackluster scope to view world
Digging away, this machine was built with rusty gears
Only a prototype, but sold off to market
And we are the operators
Our eyes are open, but our minds are crippled
Too focused on flesh to even notice
I can't watch anymore
I was not built to observe the world from this height
Or change the meaning of beauty
If we can't step down and see each other just fine
Take out my eyes
For only then will I truly see
