9/23/13 Jordan Crawford made six 3-pointers and scored 23 points, and Boston won its third straight with a 114-73 victory on Sunday. Jared Sullinger added 21 for the Celtics, who jumped to leads of 12-0, 18-1 and 25-3 and improved their Atlantic Division-leading record to 10-12. "It was just fun to get a win like that in here because I've been on the other side of it a couple times. It's good to get a win against the division," Crawford said. Boston scored the first 14 points Friday in a victory over Denver, though that one eventually got close. 9/24/13 The Pistons held the Bulls to season lows in scoring and field goal percentage (33.3). While Detroit put together two four-game runs last season, it hasn't won five in a row since Dec. 4-12, 2009.Jennings had 15 points in Miami last week, and the Pistons may need to lean on him more with Stuckey's status up in the air. Stuckey, who exited in the second quarter Saturday with a sore left knee, is second on the team with 15.4 points per contest. 9/25/13 Lillard's 3-pointer closed Portland within 89-91 and he added another to tie it with 3:58 left. But Nowitzki made two jumpers to keep the Blazers from taking the lead. The Blazers tied it again after Robin Lopez's hook shot and Nicolas Batum's free throws. But again Nowitzki answered with a 3-point play. After Batum's short jumper, Ellis made a 3-pointer from the corner to give Dallas a 104-100 lead with 1:40 left. He added a fadeaway with 45.9 to go.
9/26/13 The Kings, who trailed by seven with less than three minutes remaining in regulation, rallied to force overtime and earned a 112-102 victory over Utah on Saturday night. DeMarcus Cousins had a game-high 28 points and Isaiah Thomas came off the bench to score 26 to lead Sacramento (5-13). Seven of the Kings' previous eight games had been decided by seven points or less, and Sacramento didn't blink when the game looked grim in the fourth quarter. The Kings also looked a lot more comfortable than the Jazz (4-18) in overtime while taking advantage of the absence of Utah's fouled out and injured players. 9/27/13 This was no ordinary victory for Paul George and the Indiana Pacers. They know how difficult it is to beat the San Antonio Spurs. George scored 28 points and Indiana defeated San Antonio 111-100 on Saturday night, snapping an 11-game skid against the Spurs.David West had 20 points and Lance Stephenson scored 15 for the Pacers, who enjoyed a 41-34 rebounding edge. Roy Hibbert and Luis Scola each had 12 points and 10 boards.
