jealously is so messy like
jelly on the fingers of children
while eating sandwiches at lunchtime
comparing their meals
trading cheetos for doritos
and throwing out the fruit cups
the fruit cups know
that when they are older
the vegetarians that sprout from the children will regret it
and they giggle from the bottoms of the waste bins
because the vegetarians will pay too much for organic
then the fruit cup begins to panic
when it realizes it
will never be
good
enough
