Now would it be cliché for me to say you drive me crazy Even if it's literal, sleepless nights and restless days Steady searching for the perfect words to fit the page Plottin' and thinkin', I call that rhyme schemin' On how to be a n***a whose doing more than he dreamin' On how to show you all I'm what Lebron was to Cleveland And you see them know their heads cause all my people agreein' uh You my angel but you came from my demons If God made me odd, can I blend? Not even I'm suppose to stand out, f** a hand out You made plans but see how that panned out They faked it 'til they made it now you're sitting in doubt Guess I got to show you what a real n***a spit about I got this little hook, heard it make the ladies shout So before you camina, escucha and hear me out like [Hook] Baby its you, you're the one I love You're the one I need You're the only one I see Come on baby its you You're the one that gives your all You're the one I can always call When I need you baby everything stops Finally, you put my love on top Hip-Hop Hip, Hip-Hop Hip, Hip-Hop Hip You put my love on top, top, top, top, top Hip-Hop Hip [Bridge] Honey, honey I can see the stars all the way from here Can't you see the glow on my window pane I can feel the sun whenever you're near Every time you touch me I just melt away [Verse 2: Matt Muse] Drip, drip, drippin' wet...I Spit, spit don't you forget...That I'm a artist not a rapper Feeling like Vince dunking sh** for the Raptors And if a chick tell you different girl you better slap her And nip that in the bud like you popped a morning after You think about it...I came inside rocked all four walls Had 'em screaming ya boy name like wake up calls And when I finished guarantee they got a good nights rest First thought next day "Damn! Muse the best!" I love Hip-Hop no reality show You already know I don't need a paddle to flow, its natural No perm, relaxed though Cause my queen cause my queen got me k**ing all these tracks so I said, got no perm, relaxed though
Cause my queen got me k**ing all these tracks so [Hook] [Outro: Matt Muse] Man I met Hip-Hop when I graduated from 8th grade My dad bought me a drum machine and he was like "Yea you know this is your eighth grade graduation gift You can make beats on this" And I'm like "Oh snap!" Cause I was writing raps and always beating on desks so that was Where I started Um and I made like 50 beats or whatever, and they was weak And then he made one beat and it was the hottest beat on there! Ya know I was like "Aite!" So I wrote a song to the beat he made And it was 'Never Stop' it was called 'Never Stop' And I was like all my favorite rappers Kanye, Common, Jay-Z They'll never stop rhymin' And of course, I'll never stop rhymin' Um and so I kept making music throughout high school Come about my senior year I had a friend named uh Steven Willis and he had bars I'm talkin' 'bout straight bars you know real rap raw...that's for my n***a Deshon ha And, and he was cold with it and just seeing him thrive encouraged me to keep going So I came to college, kept pushing, and finally gained the confidence to actually put Myself out there Started performing at open mics, different events on campus And you know the House of Reds that the Delta's put on 2012 Was like the first big event I performed at And it was really just uphill from there And that same...around that same I met Chance the Rapper before he got big Before he dropped '10 Day' And he was like "Yea I want you to make a beat for me" And I never got around to actually making that beat which was a dumb choice And I always regretted that But then I end up using the beat I made for him, uh I didn't give it to him I never finished it But I end up using that beat to make my most popular song Or the best song I feel like I wrote 'HHH' Um and then when I started performing 'HHH' people fell in love with it Every time I did it it was like a magical feeling in the room And you know when I did that it just let me know that this was something I really wanted to do So....thank you Hip-Hop I love you girl
