Any word on how Alyssa Milano and Kevin Bacon took being referenced in this film? They both loved it James , I love how you put all the emotional moments and laughs at just the right places. I mean it's why the movie is just so loved. They were destroyed thank god What was the hardest scene for you to write? The first Thanos scene on Sanctuary Here's basically the ONLY question I have from the movie: Did Rocket know Groot could regrow himself, or was it a guess? He did not know Will we learn why Yondu didn't deliver Peter to his dad like he was hired to do in the sequel? Yes Do you already have songs in mind that will be part of awesome mixtape vol.2? Yea was the dance off in the first pa** of the script? If so, yay for being epic. Yes, it was (in my first draft, not the first draft by other writers. there wasn't even music in those What is Ronan saying in Kree? It's not Kree it's the language of the Exolon monks. It's some very dark and ugly sh** and it's real. So what was Chris carrying as a stand in for Rocket as the group huddles together? A green sack with stubs for arms Did Chris make up his own dance moves while he was distracting Ronan? Yes, mostly. Please in the next one can we have more Drax destroying?!! I feel like we could have seen more power from him. Like I love in the prison when we first see him fighting he just rips that little gun robot in half. Stuff like that the other characters couldn't do and is why he's a perfect addition to the team in his own way. yes Guardians is obviously a film full of heart, action, and some very lovable characters. It is also a film that has some phenomenal visual effects. Seriously. So much so, that I have to ask, was the timing just right for Guardians? Could it have even been made 10 years ago? And how did working on a film so heavy in visual effects affect the story telling process?
VFX would have been too expensive 10 years ago to make this movie. And I don't think the audience would have understood the tone ten years ago I have to say, as a film fanatic...thanks for taking risks, for combining drama and comedy, for using weird space makeup and costumes, for using COLOR (something that we don't see tha often nowadays), for altering the characters to fit the casting (and vice versa) and for daring to not choose any of the "easy/safe" choices most directors choose today. 1- Yondu was an instant favorite for me, I hope we can get more Yondu scenes. Can we expect more scenes with his whisle-arrow? 2- Will we see Cosmo joining the GotG? (or is he going to stay an easter egg)? 3 - How does it feel to be the director of an all new cla**ic? Sean Gunn - Great acting and great mocap work. You and Andy Serkis make fiction believable. It is YOUR mocap acting and Bradley Cooper's natural sounding voice (unlike most voice actors who sound cartoony) that made Rocket a new favorite for the generation. Dave Bautista (Batista) - Man, you knocked it out of the park, great performance all around. 1 yes 2 perhaps at some point 3 great! I love David White's makup on the Ravager aliens. He definitely deserves that Oscar he's up for. All those cosmic backdrops are based on real comics panels. It was the most cosmic moment in the movie. This Tyler Bates score for this scene was written BEFORE the movie (like many of the pieces) and we blast the hell out of it on set. It was playing during every shot except when there was dialogue Okay, that's the movie (besides Howard the duck coming up). I'll try to answer a few questions before leaving.
