My last dream
Verse 1
This is everything I've wanted in my dreams
Thinking, planning, flowing streams of these extreme schemes
Combining with recurring themes from my teens
Living my life trying to find out what it all means
Finally putting the pieces together right
Finding the tone, combining the black and white
Trying to justify my wrongs by doing right
Then soon I'll be able to sleep at night
Because I've been working to hard to get some sleep
My mind is way to busy to be counting sheep
But this lifestyle I keep doesn't come cheap
So I am up early to reap my planted seed
I'm up at the first sight of the bright morning light
So like that beam I am going to shine that bright
You could try and fight the excite that I incite
But you will be awoken by of my lights might
Chorus
Though all this is new to me
Wait to see what I achieve
About to change the whole scene
All because of my last dream
There is no more stopping me
Started to believe recently
That I am what there need to be
All because of my last dream
Verse 2
They say that there is no rest for the wicked
I guess from my crimes I haven't be acquitted
Or is it because to my art I am committed
Either way it seams that no sleep is permitted
To be honest sleep isn't that important to me
To busy living the life of the bourgeoisie
Hopefully this comes of, limp of an amputee
Thought right now I'm enjoying thinking what could be
I mean why do I need sleep when I'm living my dream
All that's left to do is rise to the top like steam
Flying high above you all just like a jet stream
Whilst your flow leaves you running downstream
Feeling like a star at the top no Christmas tree
Who's working hard because nothing in life comes free
When this is over for me like a retiree
Just know to me this will always be my last dream
Chorus
Though all this is new to me
Wait to see what I achieve
About to change the whole scene
All because of my last dream
There is no more stopping me
Started to believe recently
That I am what there need to be
All because of my last dream
