I don`t bare my soul to anyone
Unless pure trust is there
To treat it with respect
If a problem I might share.
Acquaintances come and go
They pa** the time of day
An integral part of my life
But some I keep at bay.
A confidence if thrown away
Could render me insecure
Then the balance of my judgement
I know would be lost for sure.
True friendship should be solid gold
From the outer layer to the core,
Each friend would then share
'Pride of Place'
In that safe haven for evermore.
